By now the eaglet was six weeks old and I had confirmed that by his weight he was a male and named him G’Kar.
He continued to accompany me on outings from his enclosure and Maria never showed any distress at his removal. She seemed to know that I would bring him back at food time.
This photograph was taken when I visited a falconer friend who was imprinting a male goshawk.
As they were both at the same stage of development it was interesting to see them together.
